Getting on with it....

I FINALLY got done with the body of the sweater. Would you like to know many times I had to redo the back shaping? Six. Yes, people, you read that right; six damn times. It got to the point where I was screaming and yarn would go across the room. Even Josh was saying, "Is this it?" No this isn't it because I didn't invest so much of my time doing this. I ended up having to rewrite the pattern for my size. I was doing what I was supposed to be doing, but always would end up with the measurements for an extra large, which I'm not. This medium is going to be too big for me. I'm doing the sleeves and it's like wow, these things are huge. But I am typically a medium and since this is cheap yarn, hey lets do something loose for those "I feel crappy days". But along with other things, I bought a new pattern book. Ok well Josh bought it for me, Greetings From Knit Cafe. It's a nice book, I'm doing the bikini. Same yarn and all, but different colors. I'll have pictures of it up sometime when I feel like it. But buying that I had to buy needles, and I bought Addi Turbo's, those things are really expensive...but I like them alot so they're worth it :)

I think you maybe the first person I've ever seen knit a bikini, which is weird because I don't think a pattern book can be published in this day and age without a knit bikini in it. Color me intrigued. Have you considered the idea that maybe your sweater needs an exorcist? Worth looking into, I think.
