Because I found another one last night. We went to Books A Million twice this weekend and last night I was so excited because I got The Last Tsar and The Great Mortality (sorry I can't post the links--I don't really know how to). All I wanted to do is go home, hunker down with a cup of tea and read. Then one was lurking near the sugar container. So instead, I packed up my knitting and we went out to one of J's buddy's house and he played beer pong and I hung out with the pregnant wives and watched the Breakfast Club.
I got the 25th anniversary issue of Vogue knitting and started the Diagonal Stitch Coat last night. It's pretty:
The flash kind of messed it up, and you can't see the cables that well, but it's a simple pattern. It's made out of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick. I had a bulky yarn in the stash and enough to make it, so why not?

Heh, that's why we have stashes! Non-knitters just don't get it... Good choice! There are so many lovely projects to choose from in the VK.
When is pest control available to come and take a look at your house ? You have a possum infestation!

Those sound really interesting. I need to read more often, but lately knitting has cut into my writing time... must make more time.
